Color signals

Among cards with live data, the deepest color pools right now are Black (17), Red (15), Blue (13). Blue decks are getting the highest-rated commons (Long Lake Nuisance, Plunder the Trollshaws, Lakeshore Apothecary), while white owns the top of the uncommon slot (Stone by Sunlight, The Mountain-king's Return) and green's Mirkwood Pathmaker is the second-best card the data can see. Black and red show plenty of depth but nothing above the 0.59 line on commons yet.

Mythics and rares are still awaiting their 17Lands sample — they currently grade from rarity heuristics inside the simulator, and this list refreshes as their data lands (~week 4 of the format).

FAQ

Where do these ratings come from?

17Lands' public GIH (games in hand) win-rate statistics, queried the day this page was generated. It is the same data the in-simulator bots use to make their picks.

Why no rares or mythics?

17Lands accumulates statistically usable samples for rares and mythics a few weeks into a format. Until then those cards are graded from rarity-based heuristics — we mark every set this way in the set picker.

Is there a draft mode in MTG Arena?

Yes — Premier Draft, Quick Draft and Traditional Draft. Quick Draft rotates on a schedule you can check on our Quick Draft schedule page, and you can practice each rotation set here first.
